Job Summary:

Insight Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a minimum 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide top-notch technical support and helpdesk services to our clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and helpdesk services to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Install and configure Microsoft Office applications, as well as perform memory upgrades and other hardware installations.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting for software and hardware issues, and respond to and resolve Level 1 technical support tickets.
  • Document and track issues in our ticketing system, and collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and profiles, and maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of hardware components and memory upgrades.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French are required for this role (can be French-only).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. of computer equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work onsite, daily.
