Job Summary

Match Retail is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, providing coaching and training to sales teams, and promoting brand awareness for our global client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client liaison at a retail level
  • Foster strong relationships with retailers
  • Provide coaching to sales teams
  • Train retailer staff
  • Conduct pre-scheduled training sessions weekly
  • Provide sales assists at locations weekly
  • Gather market analysis and report market trends of how product is perceived in the market
  • Plan and facilitate training and launch meetings to ensure all client/retailer groups are able to demonstrate product knowledge and have the necessary product knowledge and training
  • Provide sales support through offering business advice and product consultation to retailers if required
  • Ensure stock levels of merchandise meet product demand and report back
  • Support marketing initiatives through maintaining direct contact with sales points in market
  • Resolve issues that affect brand integrity and brand presence
  • Provide feedback to regional field manager and LG
  • Support go-to-market planning and promotional activities in field
  • Set up promotional materials and support dealers via incentive events and programs
  • Provide strategic input to help leverage the client brand

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience in working within the home appliance sector
  • Minimum 3 years of selling home appliances
  • Experience in being a field sales representative
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Prior success in training and motivating a sales team in meeting exceeding performance objectives
  • Available to travel within the market

Additional Information

  • 40 hours/week (M-F) days
  • Base salary + car allowance + cell phone allocation + bonuses and more
