Job Summary
Match Retail is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Sales Representative to promote brand awareness for our global client in the home appliance sector. As a Field Sales Representative, you will build and manage client relationships at the corporate, dealer, and retail level by coaching, training, and supporting various vendors, retail locations, and dealers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client liaison at a retail level, fostering strong relationships with retailers and providing coaching to sales representatives.
- Train retailer staff on product knowledge and sales techniques, conducting pre-scheduled training sessions weekly.
- Provide sales assistance at locations weekly, gathering market analysis, and reporting market trends of how products are perceived in the market.
- Plan and facilitate training and launch meetings to ensure all client/retailer groups have the necessary product knowledge and training.
- Offer business advice and product consultation to retailers as needed, ensuring stock levels of merchandise meet product demand and reporting back.
- Support marketing initiatives by maintaining direct contact with sales points in the market, resolving issues that affect brand integrity and brand presence.
- Provide feedback to regional field managers and the client, supporting go-to-market planning and promotional activities in the field.
- Set up promotional materials and support dealers through incentive events and programs, providing strategic input to help leverage the client brand.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in working within the home appliance sector.
- Minimum 3 years of selling home appliances.
- Experience as a field sales representative.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Prior success in training and motivating a sales team to meet and exceed performance objectives.
- Availability to travel within the market.
Additional Information
- 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday).
- Base salary + car allowance + cell phone allocation + bonuses and more.
