Feed Mill Production Operator
Position Overview:
This role involves contributing to the efficient production of high-quality animal feed within a dedicated team environment. The operator will collaborate with maintenance personnel and logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and utilize computer systems to manufacture animal feed.
- Complete necessary documentation for assigned tasks accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturing practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Manage plant equipment to meet daily production goals.
- Conduct troubleshooting and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Report any changes in product flow, equipment issues, or material shortages to the Team Lead or Maintenance.
- Collect samples of raw materials and finished products for testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
- Follow quality assurance standards and maintain proper documentation for feed safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Capability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
