Job Summary:

The Maple Leaf Foods team is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our Feed Mill team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality animal feed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment to achieve daily production targets
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation for assigned tasks
  • Follow manufacturing practices and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines as needed
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations
  • Collect and test raw material and final product samples to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Measure and weigh ingredients to ensure accurate formulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment an asset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 25 kg
  • Basic computer knowledge
