Job Summary:

The Maple Leaf Foods team is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our Feed Mill team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality animal feed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment to achieve daily production targets
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation for assigned tasks
  • Follow manufacturing practices and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines as needed
  • Communicate any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from specifications to the Team Lead or Maintenance team
  • Collect and test raw material and final product samples to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure product quality

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment an asset
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 kg
  • Basic computer knowledge
