Job Overview

Reporting to the Showroom Design and Sales Lead and/or Profit Centre Manager, the Luxury Showroom Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional product selection guidance and design insights to our clientele. This position is essential in ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, aiming to achieve or surpass sales and gross profit objectives while enhancing profit-sharing opportunities.

• Represent the Profit Centre with professionalism and integrity.


• Adhere to our core values and ethical standards in every interaction.


• Collaborate effectively with team members and support various business areas as required.


• Cultivate robust relationships with customers.


• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the products and services offered to clients.


• Demonstrate creativity and innovation in sales approaches.


• Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning about new products and sales techniques.


• Follow all safety protocols at the Profit Centre and customer locations, including job sites.

Duties and Responsibilities


• Assist showroom clients in identifying their needs, guiding their product choices, and finalizing sales.


• Develop and nurture strong partnerships with designers, builders, and architects to drive profitable sales growth.


• Provide clients with prompt and reliable quotes along with accurate delivery timelines.


• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets specific to products and gross profit margins.


• Input orders and quotes into the system, facilitating purchases while maintaining proactive communication with clients.


• Address and resolve customer concerns; manage short payments and returns promptly to exceed customer expectations.


• Keep product literature updated to ensure customers have access to the latest information.


• Drive showroom sales through effective promotions and maintaining attractive display materials.

Qualifications


• A degree from a college or university is required.


• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or sales; experience in luxury retail is preferred.


• A keen interest in design and aesthetics with a willingness to learn.


• Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of showroom products and recommend suitable options to meet customer needs.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.


• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.


• Strong relationship-building abilities with clients, vendors, and colleagues.


• Capability to identify customer needs, offer solutions, and successfully close sales.


• Excellent project management skills.


• Ability to learn and utilize the relevant software systems for order processing.


• Intermediate math skills are essential.
