We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, making independent decisions, and working collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations, including routine general radiographic procedures, interventional procedures, and mobile X-ray procedures.
- Make independent decisions while performing duties, ensuring accurate and safe patient care.
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and achieve departmental goals.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiographic procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required.
- Recent related experience in a hospital setting is essential.
- Previous experience with EPIC is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with our healthcare team.
