Project Coordinator - REMOTE

Dasro Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the work of the deployment techs, keeping the IT Operations Managers informed, and coordinating the migration of health users to appropriate client technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a project plan including a work breakdown structure
  • Determining and managing areas of risk
  • Leading the creation of criteria to determine best fit solution for end user use cases
  • Validating software for operation
  • Detailed analysis of systems to determine software/peripheral risk
  • Coordination with business units and users to support the migrations
  • Implement mitigation strategies to software and hardware limitations including application certification
  • Assist in the development and implementation of client device lifecycle replacement and strategy
  • Create and manage an exception process for any standards deviation
  • Provide communications to the partners, stakeholders, and users during the project

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience driving project management in a busy, multifaceted environment (data analytics or information technology setting is an asset)
  • Experience in organizational change management
  • Recent experience with client operating system migrations an asset
  • Experience working in a healthcare and/or research environment an asset
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designations
  • Has completed a large-scale information technology project within the last three (3) years
