Project Coordinator Job Description

At CO_30 TC1 Bird Industrial Management Services Ltd., we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with our Project Managers and other team members to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation and execution of overall work plans and schedules.
  • Review and process vendor submittals.
  • Coordinate material and equipment needs.
  • Manage all aspects of bussing services scope of work.
  • Support procurement activities, including review and handling of purchase orders, packing slips, and order processing.
  • Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking.
  • Prepare cost estimates for change orders and audit purposes.
  • Price site instructions, work orders, and change notices.
  • Assist with quality assurance and management of client expectations.
  • Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports.
  • Participate in on-site safety meetings and lead safety initiatives.
  • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • 3 or more years of work experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry.
  • Driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
  • Ability to work a 5-day on, 2-day off schedule in the central Saskatchewan area.
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals.
  • Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
