At CO_30 TC1 Bird Industrial Management Services Ltd., we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with our Project Managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the preparation and execution of overall work plans and schedules.
- Review and process vendor submittals.
- Coordinate material and equipment needs.
- Coordinate with key subcontractors on provision of bussing services at the client site.
- Actively review and manage daily passenger counts and suggest areas for improvement, value, and optimization.
- Manage all aspects of the bussing services scope of work.
- Support procurement activities with the review and handling of purchase orders, packing slips, and order processing.
- Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking.
- Prepare cost estimates for change orders and audit purposes.
- Price site instructions, work orders, and change notices.
- Assist with quality assurance and management of client expectations.
- Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports.
- Participate in on-site safety meetings and be a leader of initiatives.
- Provide safety leadership through implementation of the Bird Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of the project team and subcontractors.
- Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
- Build and manage business relationships.
- Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- 3 or more years of work experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision.
- Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry.
- Driver's license and able to operate a motor vehicle required.
- Ability to work a 5-day on, 2-day off schedule in the central Saskatchewan Area (travel from Regina/Saskatoon provided via client bussing, and camp accommodation when onsite).
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.
- Effective and efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive, and creative.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
