Job Title: Guest Service Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our team at Otter Co-op. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Process orders and transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Balance cash tills accurately on a daily basis
  • Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cashier is an asset
  • Lotto and/or Food Safe certification is an asset
  • Must have solid understanding of basic math skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a desire to provide a great shopping experience for every guest
  • Above average communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, dedicated, and reliable
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be committed to a SAFE work environment
  • Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts that include early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
