About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stable Manager to join our team at G&G Sporthorses Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our horses, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Develop and implement plans to prioritize animal health and well-being, including monitoring animal health and administering medication as needed.
  • Facility Management: Supervise and oversee the maintenance of our farm facilities, including the stable, pens, and equipment.
  • Operations Management: Direct and coordinate the activities of our farm staff, including feeding and watering systems, tractor operation, and forklift use.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our farm staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Security: Develop and implement safety and bio-security procedures to ensure the health and well-being of our horses and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with feeding and watering systems, tractors, and forklifts.
  • Area of Specialization: Horses.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, and a team player.
