Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at 2762149 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the operational logistics of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and process orders received from customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Task Organization: Prioritize and organize tasks to achieve work objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement operational logistics plans to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Work Order Management: Track and complete work orders, ensuring prompt completion and quality control.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics operations, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate maintenance and repair work, ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and logs of work activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule production runs, ensuring cost and time efficiency.
  • Production Monitoring: Track production progress, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate and assign work tasks, reviewing progress and providing feedback.
  • Communication: Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other issues, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Vehicle Operations: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
