We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stable Manager to join our team at G&G Sporthorses Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Stable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our horse breeding and training facility. This includes managing the care and well-being of our horses, supervising a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our farm.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily care and maintenance of our horses, including feeding, grooming, and veterinary care.
- Supervise a team of staff, including grooms, trainers, and farmhands.
- Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the efficient operation of the farm.
- Direct farm feed inventory activities and ensure the proper storage and handling of feed and supplies.
- Direct farm grooming activities and ensure the proper care and maintenance of our horses.
- Handle and care for animals, including horses, ponies, and other livestock.
- Monitor animal health and report any issues to the farm manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed by all staff.
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
- Train horses and ponies for competition and other events.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and other vehicles.
- Perform general farm duties, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a horse breeding or training facility.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
The Stable Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The Stable Manager will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, including outdoors in all weather conditions.

The hours of work will be 35 to 40 hours per week.
