Meat Processing Specialist

As a Meat Processing Specialist at Freshmart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our meat products. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to providing fresh and high-quality meats to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Meat Preparation: Clean and prepare various types of meats for processing.
- Cutting and Trimming: Skillfully cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, ensuring standard cuts of meat are prepared to meet customer needs.
- Weight and Pricing: Accurately weigh meats for sale and price products appropriately.
- Poultry Processing: Cut poultry into parts as required.
- Fish Preparation: Clean and prepare fish and shellfish, cutting them into steaks and fillets.
- Supervision and Training: Oversee the work of other butchers and meat cutters, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Specialty Products: Create unique sausages and prepare special orders for customers.
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
