Meat Processing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Processing Assistant to join our team at Freshmart. As a key member of our meat department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products reach our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with precision and care.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, ensuring accurate quantities and minimizing waste.
- Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Remove filled containers from conveyors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Feed and unload processing machines, maintaining a smooth and efficient production process.
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
