Meat Processing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Meat Processing Assistant to join our team at Freshmart. As a key member of our meat department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meat processing and packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with precision and efficiency.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, ensuring accurate quantities and quality control.
- Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Remove filled containers from conveyors, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Feed and unload processing machines, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a high level of hygiene and organization.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
