We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Organizational Development and Culture. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership in organizational development consulting services across the organization.
- Lead an OD team that consults to senior leaders and their teams to engage and support people, build a culture of connection, engagement and purpose, and achieve organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement organization development strategies that align with the organization's vision, mission, and values.
- Facilitate senior leadership meetings and retreats, and provide recommendations to support effective and efficient organization development.
- Manage internal and external OD consulting teams, including selection, supervision, and delegation of work assignments.
- Prepare and manage budgets to reflect the ongoing needs of the portfolio, and manage annual contracting with external team members.
- Oversee the intake process, including client service requests and initial consultations, and assign appropriate Client Partners to meet client needs.
- Provide consulting and support to operational and clinical leaders in the areas of organization development, and keep current with industry standards and best practices.
- Liaise with and provide support to key development initiatives undertaken through the Employee Experience portfolio and the Planning and Transformation teams.
- Manage contracts and coordinate the brokering for organization development consulting as required to support organization change initiatives and OD consulting on a one-time basis.
- Masters degree in Organization Development, Organization Behaviour, Leadership/OD, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Seven to nine years of recent, related experience in a large organization.
- Demonstrated leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in knowledge and delivery of transformational organization development.
- Demonstrated excellence in team development theory, practice, and facilitation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OD theory, Leadership Development best practices, and OD consulting principles, practices, and methodology.
- Demonstrated expertise in client, team, and systems needs assessment.
- Demonstrated expertise in design and development of organization development interventions.
