Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Project Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing equipment installations and enhancements within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical projects related to facility renovations and new equipment acquisitions.
  • Oversee the change control process and ensure project qualifications comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
  • Deliver technical presentations and articulate complex concepts effectively.
  • Design, implement, and monitor project plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Address scope changes and manage project scope effectively.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for proposed projects.
  • Lead procurement activities, including supplier sourcing and negotiations.
  • Prepare quantity surveys and budget estimates, along with comprehensive reports.
  • Review and evaluate tender documents and technical specifications.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, and commissioning of new systems.
  • Act as a resource for resolving significant technical challenges within the plant.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong understanding of automated and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with packaging and pharmaceutical machinery.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
