Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Standards
    • Develop and implement work standards to ensure accurate allocation of labor, packaging, and raw material costs to our production facilities.
    • Monitor and update standards to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Capacity Planning
    • Collaborate with the supply chain team and sales team to plan and manage manufacturing capacities.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge
    • Provide expertise on manufacturing costs, production, and capacity related to product development and innovation opportunities.
  • Process Optimization
    • Apply industrial engineering tools such as task time studies, job analyzes, and simulations to optimize processes and eliminate waste.
  • Business Growth
    • Provide analytical guidance to support sustainable business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Quality and Food Safety
    • Ensure that actions in the role support manufacturing and products with quality and food safety criteria defined by the company.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with SQF food safety requirements and report any food safety issues to authorized personnel.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Industrial Engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience
    • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in CPG, Food & Beverage, or high-speed manufacturing.
  • Skills
    • Fundamental understanding of manufacturing.
    • Bilingual: French and English (oral and written).
    • Practical experience with industrial engineering tools such as work standards, method analysis, task time studies, and chain balancing.
    • Knowledge of sales and operations planning, capacity planning, and economic order quantity strategies.
    • Organized and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel data management.
    • Experience with dynamic modeling and simulation.
    • Technical curiosity and inquisitive attitude.
    • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
    • Continuous improvement mindset.
    • Attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
