About the Role

Leigh Colosimo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment

Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children by maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and promoting healthy habits.

Prepare and Serve Nutritious Meals

Plan and prepare meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of children, promoting healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food.

Monitor Safety Areas

Regularly inspect and maintain safety areas, such as playgrounds and playrooms, to ensure they are free from hazards and conducive to play.

Engage Children in Activities

Plan and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
