As a Proposal Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and overseeing bid and proposal documents that are essential to our organization's success. Your duties will encompass the complete process of coordinating, authoring, editing, and managing technical and functional proposals to assist our Sales team in securing new business opportunities across North America. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive writing experience and exceptional communication skills to elevate our proposal writing and coordination efforts. A passion for writing and an ability to understand the audience's perspective are crucial.

In this role, you will dedicate approximately 70% of your time to developing, refining, and enhancing RFP content (including authoring questions and answers, supporting documents, and technical materials), 25% to managing the proposal process, and 5% to gathering data for proposal dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and update our technical and functional responses in our online repository.

· Conduct thorough analyses of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to evaluate requirements.

· Collaborate with product management, documentation teams, and subject matter experts to prepare compelling copy and generate effective responses to RFPs, RFIs, and Technical Questionnaires.

· Review final proposal documents to ensure they meet evaluation criteria and are comprehensive.

· Craft persuasive proposal narratives that highlight the value of our company and products.

· Oversee multiple proposal submissions and responses simultaneously, including leading kick-off meetings and coordinating with stakeholder teams.

· Translate complex technical information into clear, readable responses while ensuring content is both persuasive and concise.

· Review proposal responses for coherence, organization, compliance with requests (including forms, terms, and financial information), formatting, grammar, and a unified tone of voice.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a SaaS-based software environment as a:

o RFP Writer or Content Creator

o Technical Writer

o Technical Support or Customer Service Representative

· A curious mindset with a passion for engaging with various stakeholders to author and validate responses effectively.

· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities are essential.

· Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently without close supervision.

· Ability to simplify complex technical information for a general audience.

· An entrepreneurial spirit, confidence, and a proactive approach to initiatives.

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
