We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Moods Eatery & Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop menus that meet the high standards of our customers.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our high-quality standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and food service areas.
- Supply Chain Management: Order and manage the procurement of food, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of our kitchen operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory, as well as kitchen operations and maintenance.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and food service areas are clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
