Key Responsibilities- Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide Nursing Care: Administer medications, take vital signs, and provide wound care as needed.
- Assist with Mobility and Transfers: Help clients with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities and conversations to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the client's living space is safe and clean, performing light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
- Education: College diploma or certificate in a related field, such as nursing or personal support work.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursing care setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
