Community Campus Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Campus Administrator to join our team at the College of New Caledonia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Community Campus operations, including supervising daily operations, coordinating administrative functions, and fostering relationships with Indigenous Rights Holders, community, industry partners, and small business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of Community Campus operations, including supervising daily operations and coordinating administrative functions.
- Foster relationships with Indigenous Rights Holders, community, industry partners, and small business.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the College's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other administrators to support employee training, engagement, workload allocations, development, and evaluation of staff.
- Implement strategic and operational directives from senior leadership and manage these initiatives for optimum results.
- Engage with and foster relationships with Indigenous Rights Holders, community, industry partners, small business, government, Indigenous advisory committees, local school districts, secondary schools, and non-profit partners to develop beneficial relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the College at community meetings and events and prepare presentations and activities where appropriate.
- Support College leaders with the logistics and coordination of community engagement groups, activities, and events.
- Collaborate with Deans and Associate Deans, when requested, in developing the logistics of delivery of educational programs to meet the needs of Rights Holders, partners, and community.
- Ensure complaints, concerns, and suggestions are addressed expeditiously by following College policy procedures.
- Respond to and manage student non-academic misconduct incidents at the campus as per College policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage the campus' operational and project-specific budgets and oversee financial transactions as per College procedures.
- Assist the academic schools and the Office of the Registrar to produce academic timetables for the campus as per College policy and procedures.
- Co-lead with Facilities Services to ensure the campus' premises are maintained in accordance with lease agreements and relevant legislation to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and users.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Education or Business Administration preferred).
- Working knowledge of post-secondary systems, policy, and processes is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Project Management and community relations required.
- An ability to motivate and engage a community through inclusive practices and superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated high-quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
- Knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal culture and history within communities, with proven leadership in engaging Aboriginal communities.
- Demonstrated senior administrative skills in areas of finance, human resources, and facilities.
- Proficient in appropriate technological applications including word-processing, spreadsheet & database construction, electronic social media, web-based communication, and research.
