Community Campus Administrator

The College of New Caledonia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Campus Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our campus, coordinating administrative functions, and ensuring a positive and healthy learning environment for employees and students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned campus staff, ensuring high levels of service and a student-centric approach.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote campus operations, community engagement, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with college departments to ensure effective and efficient delivery of local operations and functions.
- Liaise with Indigenous Rights Holders, community groups, and external partners to develop beneficial relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the College at community meetings and events, and prepare presentations and activities as needed.
- Manage and coordinate campus events, and ensure compliance with College policies and procedures.
- Champion and support the College's vision, mission, and goals, and contribute to the development of educational opportunities and programs for the communities supported by the campus.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Education or Business Administration preferred).
- Five (5) years related operational management and/or supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of post-secondary systems, policy, and processes is strongly preferred.
- Commitment to excellent student/participant experience and institutional integrity.
- Experience in Project Management and community relations required.
- Ability to motivate and engage a community through inclusive practices and superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated high-quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
- Manage conflict and change in ways that contribute to the long-term viability of the campus and maintains productive relationships.
- Knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal culture and history within communities, with proven leadership in engaging Aboriginal communities.
- Broad understanding of program and service accountability framework.
- Excellent, proven organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven problem-solving skills in complex situations.
- Demonstrated collaborative leadership abilities.
- Articulated management philosophy that is in alignment with the guiding principles.
- Demonstrated senior administrative skills in areas of finance, human resources, and facilities.
- Understanding of best practices related to strategic enrollment management preferred.
- Proficient in appropriate technological applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet, and database construction, electronic social media, web-based communication, and research.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience managing in a unionized environment.
