Position Overview

The Senior Counsel, Commercial Agreements will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, playing a crucial role in the development of groundbreaking therapies that positively impact patients. This position is essential within a team of legal professionals providing strategic legal and business counsel to support Allergan's alliance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering insightful legal advice aimed at optimizing outcomes for both patients and Allergan regarding complex, strategic agreements related to pharmaceutical licenses and collaborations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse range of agreements, including licensing, transactional, and intricate R&D contracts with research and collaboration partners.
  • Providing clear and actionable guidance to clients, including legal leadership, ensuring that advice enhances the potential of our product pipeline.
  • Acting as a recognized resource for management and fellow attorneys, offering innovative perspectives in complex legal, business, or technological domains.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and fulfill the professional licensing requirements of their practicing state.
