Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at ADH ALBERTA LTD.
Job SummaryThe Food Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Service Offerings: Develop and implement operational procedures for food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate the performance of food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and quality.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all food and supplies are properly stored and rotated.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all food service staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that the best possible prices and quality are obtained.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting our food service offerings to customers and stakeholders.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily food service operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The Food Service Manager will supervise a team of 5-10 food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe Food Service Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that all food service operations run smoothly.

- Organized: The Food Service Manager must be highly organized, able to plan, organize, and direct daily food service operations.
- Reliability: The Food Service Manager must be reliable, able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Team Player: The Food Service Manager must be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other departments to achieve common goals.
