Role Responsibilities

Are you prepared to assume a crucial position in overseeing the daily functions and regulatory adherence of pension schemes? As the Compliance and Operations Manager (COM), you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the proficient administration and supervision of the Employment Pensions (EP) division. Reporting directly to the Deputy Superintendent of Pensions, your expertise will be essential in managing significant elements of our operations, compliance, and training initiatives.

About the Role

The Compliance and Operations Manager will supervise regulatory adherence for pension schemes, devise and execute operational protocols. You will be a vital contributor to the management and enhancement of the EP's internal data system, Pension Benefit Information System (PBIS), manage interactions with national pension authorities, and lead research initiatives. Furthermore, you will mentor Compliance Officers and manage a portfolio of intricate pension schemes, ensuring their adherence to legislative standards from initiation to termination.

Roles and Responsibilities

Regulatory Adherence: Ensure pension schemes comply with the Employment Pension Plans Act and Regulation, intervening as necessary to uphold legislative standards. PBIS Oversight: Manage the functionality of PBIS, ensuring precise data management and spearheading enhancement projects in collaboration with relevant authorities. Training and Development: Prepare and instruct staff in compliance operations protocols, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective execution. Research Initiatives: Conduct and oversee research projects to enhance the analysis and administration of pension schemes, remaining informed of industry trends and legislative modifications. Documentation Assessment: Evaluate and review plan documents to ensure compliance, collaborating closely with pension professionals and plan administrators.
