We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camp Manager to join our team on a rotational basis for projects across Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing remote camps, ensuring the smooth operation of facilities, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain remote camps, including facilities, equipment, and personnel
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet their needs and expectations
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and report on camp operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inventory management
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Camp Manager in remote settings
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • PAL license (for wildlife monitoring) and Level 1 Supervisor Ticket
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a remote camp setting
  • Previous experience working with diesel generators, off-road vehicles, and chainsaws
  • Experience managing a crew and maintaining a safe work environment
