Essential Kitchen Sanitation Specialist Required
  • Education: No formal qualifications necessary
  • Experience: Comprehensive on-the-job training availableKey Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly sanitize and maintain kitchen equipment including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing machines to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils
  • Organize and store clean dishware in their designated locations
  • Perform hand washing of dishes and utensils when required
  • Utilize kitchen appliances for food preparation tasks
  • Ensure the kitchen environment remains clean and orderly, including work surfaces and equipment
  • Manage disposal of kitchen waste and refuse
  • Conduct sweeping, mopping, and polishing of floorsPhysical Requirements
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs)Community Support Initiatives
  • Contribute to the social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees
  • Engage in recruitment efforts for individuals affected by conflicts or natural disasters
  • Assist with the recognition of foreign credentials
  • Participate in mentorship programs aimed at youth, Indigenous workers, and visible minoritiesPosition Details
