Residential Support Specialist

Compensation: $22.44 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Daytime shifts
  • Nighttime shifts
  • Weekend availability as required

This full-time role is situated in the Bridgewater region, featuring a two-week rotating schedule that includes every second weekend. This opportunity is within a newly established small option home, which presents an exciting environment for both staff and residents.

Qualifications:

· Proven training and experience in effectively assisting individuals with cognitive impairments, significant physical conditions (such as Diabetes, COPD, seizure disorders), mental health challenges, personality disorders, brain injuries, aggressive behaviors, developmental delays, substance use disorders, and mobility or communication difficulties is essential.

· Demonstrated experience and capability in supporting individuals with complex behavioral management needs is required.

· Willingness and ability to perform personal care tasks, including lifting and transferring individuals, is necessary.

A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the field is mandatory.

A current and clear Criminal Records Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search is required.
