Job Title: Community Residential Worker
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Residential Worker to join our team at Health Association Nova Scotia. As a Community Residential Worker, you will provide support and care to individuals with cognitive deficits, mental illness, and physical disabilities in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including lifts and transfers
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive deficits, mental illness, and physical disabilities
- Ability to complete personal care tasks, including lifts and transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
