Job Title: Community Residential Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Residential Worker to join our team at Health Association Nova Scotia. As a Community Residential Worker, you will provide support and care to individuals with cognitive deficits, mental illness, and physical disabilities in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including lifts and transfers
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive deficits, mental illness, and physical disabilities
  • Ability to complete personal care tasks, including lifts and transfers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
