About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at Virtual Wonders. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Performance Optimization: Assess, document, and optimize the capacity and performance of our information and communication system networks.
  • Hardware and Software Integration: Research, evaluate, and integrate network system and data communication hardware and software to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • System Architecture and Design: Analyze user requirements and design and develop system architecture and specifications to meet business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of engineers, technologists, technicians, and drafters in the design and development of computer and telecommunications hardware.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise, inspect, and provide design support during the manufacturing, installation, and implementation of computer and telecommunications hardware.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Initiative, organized, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Work Arrangements: Permanent position with 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
