Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Toptable Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in preparing ingredients and dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and prepare ingredients, set up workstations to ensure efficient food preparation
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Cook with precision and speed, meeting production schedules and timelines
- Focus on quality, food preparation standards, and consistency in a premium kitchen environment
- Communicate and coordinate with the team, including front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- At least one year of directly related experience in premium Western cuisine
- Enrollment in or completion of a culinary program
- Food Safe Certification
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, withstand heat, and deal with the pressures of preparing food in a fast-paced environment
- Dedicated team player with excellent communication skills
- Extremely organized, with a focus on meeting deadlines and working with precision
- Responsible, motivated, and energetic self-starter
