We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Downtown Squamish Pub Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe for staff and customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, organized, and a team player.
As a member of our kitchen team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and quality food products.
