Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing our financial, communications, and other business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve strategic objectives
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions to drive business growth
  • Formulate and approve policies and programs to ensure effective management and operations
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions to promote business interests
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and executive staff to drive business success
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of performance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a senior management role, preferably in a financial or business services environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Work Environment

This is a full-time permanent position, with a salary of $94.51 per hour. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our office location.

Language

English is the primary language of work for this position.
