Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Steve Varga Enterprises Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner to maintain our high standards of quality and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that our team is equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain a safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our team is well-equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions and improve our operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, providing insights and recommendations to improve our operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate our team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail to ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Fast-paced restaurant environment with high volume of customers and orders.
- Standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
English is the primary language of communication in our restaurant, and proficiency in English is required for this role.
