Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently. You must be physically demanding and able to lift up to 25 pounds.
