We are seeking a talented Applications Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative web applications.

Your Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in project stand-ups and sprint reviews, ensuring seamless collaboration within the development process.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues within applications, optimizing for efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with development, creative, and product management teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver compelling user-facing products from inception to completion.
  • Construct and enhance the structure and presentation of efficient, reusable front-end systems that power complex web applications.
  • Implement test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing.
  • Engage in code reviews led by senior team members and technical leadership, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update the functional and UI aspects of existing applications, ensuring their ongoing performance and relevance.
  • Mentor and guide other team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development, continuously expanding your skillset.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience with JavaScript programming.
  • A post-secondary education in IT Web Programming, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React/React Native or comparable technologies (Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Familiarity with browser APIs and best practices for optimizing front-end performance.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS, including concepts such as layouts, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of code versioning systems like Git or SVN.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a broad knowledge of current and emerging web development techniques and principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
