Job Title: Executive Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Education Foundation at Grande Prairie Public School Division.

About the Role:

The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the Foundation's efforts to support enhanced learning opportunities for students in our division. This includes fundraising, granting of scholarships, and applying for public and private sector grants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a long-range strategy aligned with the Foundation's mission and goals.
  • Manage budgets and monitor long-term strategic fiscal plans.
  • Lead fundraising activities and apply for grants to support the Foundation's objectives.
  • Develop and administer programs to ensure alignment with the Foundation and Division priorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience leading fundraising activities and applying for grants.
