Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales growth through effective conversion, penetration, and retention strategies within targeted health systems.
  • Achieve or surpass organizational key performance indicators, including sales targets and quotas, by managing account performance and collaborating with sales leadership as necessary.
  • Engage in negotiations with national, regional, and local health systems at the highest levels.
  • Enhance value by leveraging existing relationships within targeted accounts to gain access to key decision-makers.
  • Establish and nurture high-level strategic customer relationships, building trusted partnerships with VP and C-suite executives to position Aesculap as a valuable resource.
  • Identify and cultivate Aesculap's advocates within each health system network, creating a web of influence within the organization.
  • Translate business strategies into clear objectives and actionable tactics for communication and execution, maintaining high accountability for driving results.

This job function is not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the professional field and industry, influencing the development and application of principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment to achieve assigned goals.
  • Judgment is essential in resolving complex issues based on experience.
  • Act as a primary contact for projects and departmental operations, interacting with senior internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.

It is crucial for this position that the employee is present and in-person at the physical sites of our customers and potential customers, which often include clinical settings such as hospitals and clinics. Many of these healthcare customers require outside vendors to provide proof of requisite vaccinations and immunizations, including those for COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, prior to granting access to their clinical environments.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
