About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at SUPER SAUSAGE 2003 LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Meat Preparation and Processing**: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides and quarters, cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
  • **Meat Handling and Packaging**: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, cut poultry into parts, grind meats, make special sausages, slice cooked meats.
  • **Display and Presentation**: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products, shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood.
  • **Customer Service**: Prepare special orders, work under pressure, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, physically demanding, handling heavy loads, hand-eye co-ordination.
Requirements
  • **Education**: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • **Work Experience**: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • **Work Environment**: Cold/refrigerated, supermarket and meat department, meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, supermarket/grocery store, wholesalers.
  • **Equipment and Machinery**: Band saw, manual cutting utensil, power grinder, salami mixer and cooker, sausage machine, slicing machine.
  • **Geographical Areas**: Eastern Europe.
