About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer first aid and provide emergency care as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
