Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring their refrigeration needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment, including fountain machines, coolers, and vending machines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver and assist with the installation of Visi/Vend equipment, ensuring seamless integration with our clients' systems.
  • Utilize specialized testing equipment, such as electrical multimeters and refrigeration diagnostic tools, to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Prepare and submit accurate invoices, settlement sheets, and related paperwork through hand-held computers or manual processes.
  • Manage and maintain parts and equipment inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to prepare and install promotional equipment, enhancing our clients' brand presence.
  • Perform all service, maintenance, and installation requirements to meet our clients' service standards and company expectations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Journeyperson Appliance Service Technician or Refrigeration and AC Mechanic certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude, with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Ability to safely move heavy equipment, meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs.
  • Valid Class 5 Operator's license required with a clean abstract.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, on a rotating basis. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
