Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our refrigeration and cooling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and cooling equipment, including fountain machines, coolers, and vending machines.
  • Conduct site visits to deliver and install new equipment, and to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Use specialized testing equipment, such as electrical multimeters and refrigeration diagnostic tools, to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Complete invoices, settlement sheets, and other related paperwork using hand-held computers or manual processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Journeyperson Appliance Service Technician or Refrigeration and AC Mechanic certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Ability to safely move heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Class 5 Operator's license required with a clean abstract.

Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, on a rotating basis.
