Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the CW Redevelopment Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall design, planning, and implementation of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and PHSA teams, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including Indigenous-specific anti-racism and Indigenous Cultural Safety.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and contingency funds.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, engineering, or construction administration.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and Indigenous Cultural Safety principles and practices.
