Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Ontario INC. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are skilled and knowledgeable in their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of pressure.
- Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, with a combination of sitting and standing throughout the day.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a client-focused approach, providing excellent service and ensuring that customer needs are met.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, with excellent oral communication and the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- 1-2 Years of Experience: Have at least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a strong background in food service and customer service.
- Accessible Recruitment: Apply accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities.
- Newcomer Support: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, providing support and mentorship to help them integrate into the workforce.
- Youth Support: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for young people.
- Veteran Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans, offering workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help them navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Mature Worker Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, providing staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Visible Minority Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
