Front End Clerk Job Description

At Metro Inc., we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Front End Clerk to join our team. As a Front End Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and maintain a visually appealing store display.

Requirements:

  • Customer service driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Retail experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
